Standard 24/5 FX trading hours (most currency pairs)
For most currency pairs, FX conversion is available 24 hours a day on business days:
• Open: Sunday 23:00 GMT
• Close: Friday 20:50 GMT
Any FX conversions in these pairs that you attempt outside these hours will not be executed. The app will prompt you to submit the conversion again when FX trading reopens on Sunday at 23:00 GMT.
24/7 trading pairs
The following currency pairs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
• USD/HKD
• AED/USD
• AED/HKD
For these pairs:
• You can initiate conversions at any time of day or week.
• This helps you manage FX timing risk more effectively and respond to urgent payment needs
Please note: FX spreads may be wider during weekends and certain off-peak times due to lower global market liquidity. We always show you the live rate before you confirm a conversion.
How does this affect my payments? 
FX conversions for USD/HKD, AED/USD and AED/HKD can be completed 24/7, 365 days a year between your Currenxie account balances. However, outbound payments from these balances are still processed according to banking hours and standard payment cut-off times.
If you submit a payment request outside banking hours, the FX conversion will complete immediately, and the payment will be queued and processed when the relevant payment rail reopens.
