We’ve updated our requirements for Currenxie Global Account holders sending local IDR payments to bank accounts and eWallets in Indonesia. This update helps keep your transfer process running smoothly.
Sending local IDR payments to accounts in Indonesia now requires two additional details:
- Source of funds
- Relationship to beneficiary
Adding these details in advance keeps your saved profiles ready for your next transfer. If a beneficiary profile is missing this information, you will see a message asking you to review their details before you can proceed.
Updating your saved beneficiaries
To add these details to an existing beneficiary, you will have to delete the current profile and create a new entry following the steps below.
You can make these updates by logging into the Currenxie web app. Alternatively, the mobile app will support updating profiles after an upgrade in mid October 2026.
Note: Beneficiary profiles with pending transactions cannot be removed until settlement is complete. Payments are processed daily, after which the profile can be deleted and recreated.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Locate the beneficiary
Navigate to “Beneficiaries” in the left side menu of the Currenxie Global Account web app (or via the top-left drop-down menu in the mobile app).
Step 2: Locate and view beneficiary details
Locate the relevant beneficiary with an IDR account, click the three dots (...) icon associated with their entry, and select “Details”.
Step 3: Delete the initial profile
Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the red “Delete” button, and confirm by clicking “Delete” in the pop-up modal to remove the profile.
Step 4: Set up the new profile
Return to the “Beneficiaries” page and click “Add” in the top-right corner to set up the updated profile.
Step 5: Fill in the updated beneficiary profile
Re-enter the beneficiary’s details and complete the two new mandatory fields: Source of funds and Relationship to beneficiary.
Once set up, your updated beneficiary profile is ready to use for local IDR payments to accounts in Indonesia.
